LaLu Barbera d'Alba 2022

From select sites across Monforte and La Morra, LaLu’s Barbera is vivid, juicy and full of character. Naturally fermented and handled without pumps or punch-downs, it combines wild berry richness with Barbera’s hallmark freshness. The wine’s supple texture, bright acidity and mineral edge reflect both careful farming and a gentle hand in the cellar, delivering a modern yet authentic expression of Piedmont’s most expressive grape. Taking inspiration from Cécile Tremblay, with whom they completed a harvest, the Barbera aspires to the grace and sensual texture of a Vosne-Romanée from Burgundy.
