Viticola Mentridana Las Uvas de la Ira 2024

The super tasty and expressive 2024 Las Uvas de la Ira was produced with Garnacha from seven vineyards in El Real de San Vicente, fermented separately and matured in concrete and oak vats and foudres. It was a very challenging vintage, with mildew and oidium, from a wetter zone than Méntrida village on soils with a very high content in silt. It has some flinty notes and is faintly reductive, with notes of herbs, flowers and small, translucent berry fruit. It is fine-boned, with classical chalky granite tannins. 10,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2025.
