Dark cherry, plum, mocha, spice, new leather, blood orange, licorice, spice and rose petal capture the beguiling nuance that is so typical of first-class Barolo. Readers will find a wine of tremendous intrigue. Give it a few years to soften. A kiss of French oak lingers.
