It's not easy making Bordeaux blends of this quality in Franschhoek, but Gottfried Mocke's cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon with 11% Cabernet Franc is a fresh, elegant, nuanced delight. Granular, refined and easily handling its 80% new wood, this is herbal rather than green with lovely lift and freshness. 2022-28
