The 2019 Barolo Le Coste di Monforte is an intriguing wine. Deep and dynamic, with ample transparency and elegance, the 2019 offers up scents of dried herbs, mocha, rose petal, macerated cherry and orange peel. In the glass, there is wonderful persistence, showing understated grace and tons of nuance.
