Haut-Bailly II 2024

An immediately comforting nose here makes you feel welcome and at ease. This is one of the vintage’s most vibrant and expressive second wines, and it does not necessarily play a different game to its parent Grand Vin. The impression is of simply a more forward drinking creation, and this will please the impatient among us (my hand is up!). The delicious red fruit sings with remarkable clarity and levity, and gorgeous black fruit decorations surround this sculpted core. There is distinct ‘air de Haut-Bailly perfume’ and precision here that is irresistibly melodic and enchanting.
