Originally owned by the Pira family, the winery was passed to Chiara Boschis in 1990. Boschis, one of the first female winemakers in the region, brought a fresh perspective and a passionate commitment to quality. Under her leadership, E. The vineyards of E. Pira & Figli are located in some of Barolo’s most revered crus, including Cannubi, Mosconi, and Via Nuova. The Cannubi vineyard, one of the oldest and most famous in Barolo, is known for its sandy soils that produce wines with exceptional finesse and aromatic intensity.
