The Fine Wine Library is pleased to offer complimentary nationwide delivery for orders exceeding €250 of the In Bond value within the Netherlands. In cases where the order falls below €250, a modest fee of €6.95 per order is applicable. Our delivery service ensures that all packages are signed for, and customers can anticipate their orders to arrive within an estimated timeframe of 1-3 working days.

 

Netherlands & Belgium Delivery Rate:

We charge a flat delivery fee of €6.95 per order within the Netherlands and Belgium, regardless of size or weight. Spend €250 or more, and delivery is free—making it even easier to stock up on your favourites.

 

Netherlands & Belgium Service Level & Packing:

For deliveries within the Netherlands and Belgium, we are proud to work with a trusted local warehousing partner who operates their own fleet of delivery trucks. This streamlined, in-house logistics setup ensures that your wine is handled with care every step of the way—without the need for repacking.

Your wine will arrive exactly as intended by the producer: in its Original Carton (OC) or Original Wooden Case (OWC), preserving provenance and presentation. Whether you're a collector or simply appreciate the finer details, you can be confident that every box arrives in pristine condition.

You’ll also receive an automated tracking reference as soon as your order is dispatched. That means no waiting around all day—just a clear delivery window so you can plan your day with ease.

 

We offer a courier rate within the European Union. However, it's important to note that due to geographical restrictions or specific regulations in different regions, some wines may not be available for certain markets. 

 

European VAT Rates:

As we deliver across Europe, the VAT rate applied to your order depends on the destination country. These rates are set by each individual government and follow the local rules for alcohol and wine sales. During checkout, VAT is automatically calculated based on your delivery address, ensuring full transparency. Below is an overview of current VAT rates for wine in key European countries:

21% VAT - Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic

20% VAT - Austria, France, Ireland, Poland, Portugal

19% VAT - Germany, Greece  |  25% VAT - Sweden, Denmark
