The Fine Wine Library is pleased to offer complimentary nationwide delivery for orders exceeding €600 of the In Bond value within the Netherlands. In cases where the order falls below €600, a modest fee of €9.95 per order is applicable. Our delivery service ensures that all packages are signed for, and customers can anticipate their orders to arrive within an estimated timeframe of 1-3 working days.
Netherlands & Belgium Service Level & Packing:
For deliveries within the Netherlands and Belgium, we are proud to work with a trusted local warehousing partner who operates its own fleet of delivery trucks. This streamlined, in-house logistics setup ensures that your wine is handled with care every step of the way, without the need for repacking.
Your wine will arrive exactly as intended by the producer: in its Original Carton (OC) or Original Wooden Case (OWC), preserving provenance and presentation. Whether you're a collector or simply appreciate the finer details, you can be confident that every box arrives in pristine condition.
You’ll also receive an automated tracking reference as soon as your order is dispatched. That means no waiting around all day, just a clear delivery window so you can plan your day with ease.
European Delivery Rates
We offer courier delivery across the European Union. Please note that certain wines may be unavailable in specific markets due to local regulations or shipping restrictions.
VAT is applied according to the destination country and is automatically calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, in line with local alcohol and wine legislation. Current VAT rates for wine in key markets are as follows: 21% in Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy, 20% in France, and 19% in Germany.
European Courier Rates:
Our courier service is designed for smaller orders, where we carefully re-pack the wines to ensure they travel safely. Our standard European courier rate, shown below, applies per 12-bottle case. For larger, palletised shipments, we are pleased to offer tailored shipping solutions. Please contact us for a personalised quote below. The delivery is insured for loss or breakage.

Secure Packaging:
To prioritize the secure delivery of your order and reduce the likelihood of any damages, we employ a repackaging process that utilizes transit-safe boxes. As a result, the original carton or wooden packaging in which the items were initially packaged in will not be included with your order.

European Pallet Rates:
Our courier service works very well for smaller orders. However, if you would like your wines delivered in their original cases or OWC’s, sealed and untouched, we recommend using our pallet service instead.
For most destinations mentioned, pallet delivery typically ranges between €200 and €350 ex-VAT. This covers around 90 percent of locations. Only the far south of Italy and some more remote areas of France tend to fall outside this range and may cost slightly more. For a more detailed quote, get in touch on the form below.
