Cavallotto

"Readers who appreciate a firm, classic style of Barolo will want to spend some time getting to know Cavallotto.”

– Antonio Galloni, Vinous

They’ve been farming organically since 1976 whilst utilizing 20- to 100-hectoliter untoasted Slavonian oak botti for the maturation of their wines.  Cavallotto’s wines have become highly sought after by Barolo collectors for their classic, age-worthy, firm yet refined tannins. The secret to their success is the 100% family-owned Bricco Boschis Cru which is located on a hill in Castiglione Falletto, parallel to the famous Monprivato.
