The 2024 Riesling Winninger Röttgen Grosses Gewächs has a subtle nose that somehow combines a last vestige of reduction with red apple peel and tart apple flesh bedded on a touch of creaminess. Beautiful stoniness and dryness, define the sleek palate. It tingles with supple zestiness while that tart apple note spells ripeness and freshness at the same time. The 2024 is a lovely and elegant expression of stone. (Bone-dry)
